41st ANNUAL ADA MUSIC FEAST

November 3, 2018

It is a pleasure to announce the 41st Annual “Music Feast” Show Choir Invitational Competition sponsored by The Ada Music Boosters and hosted by The Ada Varsity Singers on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Ada High School.

 

Helpful information about performance schedule, building details, Music Feast history, cafeteria menu, and spectator rules can be found in our 2018 Music Feast Packet (coming soon!) which will be sent to participating school directors.

 

We run our competition by class based on school enrollment. There will be a Grand Champion and runner-up from each class, as well as special awards in each class. Awards will also be given for the top scores regardless of class. The top six scoring choirs regardless of class will compete in the evening “Finals” for “Overall” awards.

Volunteers:

Music Feast is not possible without volunteers – lots of them!  This year we are using SignUp.com, the leading online signup and reminder tool, to organize our upcoming activity.  We need help both on setup, Friday November 2nd, and the event day, Saturday November 3rd.  Please sign up for Music Feast 2018 – here’s how in 3 easy steps:

Show Choir Directors:

A letter of  invitation to register will be sent out soon.  We look forward to hearing from you and hosting your group at this year’s competition, our 41st year!   Please let us know if you have any questions or if we may be of assistance in any way!

 

Our registration procedure:

We encourage online submission of the application (click HERE)!  Application and the $300 registration fee are due as soon as possible to our treasurer. We will use the date and time stamp from the online submission as the official “date received,” as long as payment is received within 15 business days. Payments received after this grace-period will use the date we receive your check as official date of return. Hard copy applications sent by U.S. Mail will use the date of postmark, so long as payment is enclosed.

 

Please submit the registration online, then print the registration form and mail the payment to Crystal Huffer, 322 E. Highland, Ada, OH 45810.  She may be reached at crystalhuffer.ada@gmail.com.
